Privacy policy

Learnberry is a personal finance modeling tool. This page explains what information we collect when you use it, where it goes, and what we do not do with it. We try to keep it plain. If anything is unclear, ask.
What you give us
You can browse most of Learnberry without an account. If you create one, we store:
- Your email address, and a hashed password if you signed up with one.
- Your name and Google profile email, if you signed in with Google. We do not receive your Google password.
- Anything you enter into the app: accounts and balances, recurring income and expenses, debt details, trackers and tracker entries, and any files you upload as attachments (e.g. receipts, invoices).
That data is yours. You enter it; you can edit or delete it; you can export it as CSV from the relevant pages.
Where it lives
All account and financial data is stored in a private Supabase project (Postgres database and object storage). The application itself is hosted on Vercel. Both providers process data in transit on our behalf; their own privacy policies apply.
Database access is protected by row-level security so that each user can only read or modify their own rows. File attachments are stored under a path keyed to your user ID, and read access is granted only through short-lived signed URLs that expire after 60 seconds.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We do not show you ads, and we do not share your data with advertisers.
- We do not run analytics, tracking pixels, session recorders, or third-party JavaScript that watches what you do.
- We do not use your financial data to train machine-learning models.
- We do not access your bank, brokerage, or credit accounts. Numbers shown in Learnberry are numbers you typed in.
Cookies
When you sign in, Supabase sets authentication cookies in your browser so we know you are signed in on subsequent requests. That is the only kind of cookie we use. There is no advertising or analytics cookie on this site.
Third parties
The only third parties involved in serving Learnberry are:
- Supabase — stores your data, manages authentication.
- Vercel — hosts the application and serves it to your browser.
- Google— only if you choose “Sign in with Google.” In that case Google sends us your email and basic profile info; nothing else.
Your choices
- Edit or delete any entry, account, balance, recurring item, tracker, or attachment from inside the app at any time.
- Export trackers as CSV from the tracker detail page.
- Delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete account permanently. Removes every row of yours from the database and every file from storage immediately.
Security
We follow standard practice: HTTPS for everything, scoped database policies, short-lived signed URLs for file access, no plaintext passwords stored by us (Supabase handles password hashing). No system is perfectly secure; if something does go wrong and your data is affected, we will tell you.
Changes
If we change how Learnberry handles data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. Substantial changes will be called out plainly rather than buried.
